Asia Tsisar

Asia Tsisar (Ukraine) is a curator and culturologist. Graduate of the Department of Cultural Studies of the State Academy of Culture in Kharkiv, Ukraine and Eastern Europe Studies at Warsaw University, she developed her practice in-between art and cultural studies and focuses her interest on Central and Eastern Europe. The topics of interest include archives and collections, memory, commemoration, and the modes of the rethinking totalitarian past in Central and Eastern Europe. She bases her work on the methods of artistic research and creative storytelling.
